We’re famous! Well, at least it certainly felt that way when last week Cheryl and I were invited to speak on the topic of Business Partnerships for Entrepreneurial Women. 

Hosted by CPA Australia Hong Kong and moderated by Johnny Lam, Councilor for Greater China at CPA Australia Hong Kong the webinar covered a range of topics from the challenges of starting a business in the middle of a pandemic, to the dynamics of a partnership business, the growth strategy for Qurious, and others.

Johnny – for those who don’t know – was one of the founding members of OpenRice, a food and restaurant guide website that is used daily by its half a million registered users, so Cheryl and I were standing on the shoulders of a giant as we spoke about our experiences as entrepreneurs!

The hour we shared was fun, informative, energetic and thoroughly enjoyable – and that’s just for us! Hopefully our nuggets of wisdom and valuable experiences will inspire others to take the leap into entrepreneurship. If not, at least we might have provided some light entertainment and shopping ideas for those who tuned in.
