Kung Hei Fat Choi!
The Year of the Golden Ox is upon us!
The lunar new year is a deeply significant celebration here in Hong Kong and one that remains steeped in tradition. Festive colours of red and gold are prominent, positive greetings and wishes of good luck, fortune and health are freely and warmly extended, and gifts of fruits, foods and lucky red packets (red envelopes containing varying amounts of money) are given by married couples to the singletons (often younger) in their family and friends circles.
I continue to be the happy recipient of these latter lucky red packets, much to the chagrin of my family and friends but the fact of the matter is, I am still unmarried and why mess with thousands of years of tradition (me, looking at Cheryl)?
If you’re looking for a slightly different but equally festive gift for family, friends or colleagues look no further than our exclusive-to-Qurious weave bowl that’s the perfect Chinese New Year shade of rich, ruby red. Alternatively, our MGO 800+ 100% pure Manuka Honey resembles liquid gold and is nature’s gift for better health. Both will be warmly received.
Allegedly the Golden Ox is a year for prosperity (woo-hoo!) and Cheryl and look forward to continuing to grow Qurious through collaborations with more designers, curating more products and engaging with more and more customers to create a bigger and stronger tribe.
From us to you, Kung Hei Fat Choi and a very happy, healthy, and prosperous Year of the Golden Ox!
